Pluto and the Galactic Center in Sagittarius June to November 2008
Call it Plutoid, Pluto or the Lord of the Underworld. Label it whatever you want. However from my perspective Pluto is still a real symbolic powerhouse to consider in astrology and within the charts during interpretation. It is a serious contender symbolizing transformation, transmutation, metamorphosis, power, death, rebirth and resurrection.
Now if you have been following the trail of Pluto in Sagittarius for the last few years, you may have read or heard that it had a superb twelve course meal and celestial meeting after 248 years with the Galactic Center at 26 degrees Sagittarius.
The Galactic Center is the “center point” around which a spiral galaxy such as our Milky Way, rotates and within that may be a black hole. This dance between Pluto/Galactic Center has significant meaning for most astro-buffs out there.
What type of deep and powerful changes did you notice in your life for the last few years (since 2006)?
When you have a symbolic dance with Pluto expect to see a demolition of the area of life it is passing through. It’s like tearing down a building, structure, guts, walls, padding everything… down to the ground. Leaving zero behind. Only to start fresh from scratch to resurrect something more magnificent for the long term that matches your evolution.
Sure the ego and personality and mind will squirm, scream, kick, feel out of control. Yet it is truly for the best this symbolic death and rebirth. Pluto takes you on a Shamanic Journey to face those things you fear the most and to transform raw power into something more useful and empowering. So remember Dear Readers, destruction gives way for birthing something that will align with your Soul’s highest potential and fill you with new creative energy – if you are willing. There is no escaping this. Surrender to the Truth and it will flow easier.
“The Finale” – Transiting Pluto in Sagittarius at the end degrees
As Pluto moves through (currently retrograde which activates one to be more subjective or internalize the energy) Sagittarius 29-28 degrees – one last time, think of this as a Final bow. Tidy up the trail of debris. Sweeping out the remaining stuff. Practice feeling empowered. Set new healthier boundaries. Embrace change and transformation. Seek deeper meaning and truth for your existence. Even your worldview, beliefs and visions may be evolving. What used to fit no longer feels right. Where you used to derive meaning from, there is none. Seek. Search. Reach out to the Truth.

I can say one thing, working with Pluto’s symbolic energy has not always been an easy ride. It’s like sitting in the middle of an active volcano, you know its going to purge and spew lava, destroy and yet leave new birth in its wake (in the aftermath) – fertile soil to plant new seeds.
No matter the discomfort, it has felt invigorating and empowering from the core level out. As I’ve embraced the process of letting go and change, I’ve realized that my intent, willingness and surrender to my higher evolution has made all the difference. I recognize the value and purpose of this process.
