Today, September 22nd, 2009 is the first day of Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and the Sun rides the air currents into the sign of Libra. We are reminded to find the balance point of view amongst things, including how we perceive the shift in Seasons.

The change of Seasons is like a change of guard. We go from being open and expressive to winding down and going inward in preparation for hibernation here in the Northern Hemisphere. Those who garden or have farms know that there is a winding down of the soil and planets in preparation for the shift in Seasons. Nature displays this naturally as the leaves on the trees go from brilliant green to many colors to drying out and then falling off the branches.
